Oral appliance manufacturer ProSomnus Sleep Technologies announces the launch of three new products at the AADSM 26th Annual Meeting.
ProSomnus, which makes the MicrO2 Sleep and Snore Device, will also now offer the ProSomnus [IA] Iterative Advancement Sleep and Snore Device with Monogram Customization Options. The precision-manufactured iterative advancement sleep device is customizable. Anterior discluders, airway opening, different dual post angles, splint coverage options, and more, can be added.
Also under the ProSomnus [IA] platform dentists will also be able to prescribe ProSomnus [UA] Unlimited Advancement Arches. After ordering the initial series, [UA] provides as many additional advancement arches as needed to position the patient in the final treatment position desired.
Addtionally, ProSomnus received FDA clearance for using the DentiTrac Compliance Sensor by Braebon. DentiTrac is a miniature micro-recorder designed to measure patient treatment compliance.
“Obstructive sleep apnea patients want therapy that is effective, comfortable, and convenient,” says Len Liptak, CEO of ProSomnus Sleep Technologies, in a release. “These three new products support these objectives by enabling dentists to precisely personalize the ProSomnus [IA] Sleep Device with Monogram product options to match the unique needs of each patient, and monitor adherence with the DentiTrac Compliance Sensor.”
Having an additional oral appliance able to use the Braebon chip will be a big step forward in increasing the availability and use of oral appliances with safety sensitive positions like commercial truck drivers and pilots that have to track compliance for Dot or FAA medical examiner certification.
Agreed. It’s a shame braebon is having such distribution issues.
