Australia-based oral appliance developer Oventus Medical LLC has appointed Robin Randolph as vice president of marketing and operations. Within this role, Randolph will be responsible for establishing a presence for a US-based production and product fulfillment business, facilitate marketing strategy, and clinical education to drive the adoption of the Oventus O2 Vent product lines.

Oventus uses 3D titanium print technology to create a personalized airway that is incorporated into its patented design. The O2Vent oral appliances deliver air to the back of the mouth, allowing for breathing through the appliance, bypassing nasal resistance and velopharyngeal obstruction, according to the company.

Randolph brings nearly 30 years of experience in the sleep medicine industry. She previously served as marketing manager for North America at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare and director of Sleep Market Initiatives at ResMed. In addition to marketing and business development, Randolph has extensive experience on the clinical side of sleep medicine. Randolph entered the sleep industry in 1983; in her early years, she gained direct exposure to clinical practice working in the sleep lab, conducting research, clinical education, and sales. She also holds a number of medical device patents.

At Oventus Medical, Randolph combines intends to facilitate growth through sleep physician and dental practice collaboration as well as consumer-centric marketing strategies.
