Airway Management, provider of medical devices treating snoring and sleep apnea, announced the promotion of Charles F. Collins to CEO.

Collins has been leading Airway Management as chief operations officer since March 2014.

The promotion reflects Collins’ record of exceptional leadership and results throughout his tenure at Airway Management, the company said, adding that he has demonstrated a commitment to the strategic growth and sustainability of the TAP brand by continually improving and streamlining the TAP Sleep Care System. He has been integral in the growth of Airway’s partners both nationally and globally.

Keith Thornton, DDS, says in a release, “Charles’ ability to lead our organization from its early years with two products to our broad TAP Sleep Care System portfolio with ease and integrity reflects his personal commitment to future growth and success of our company. With his promotion, I will assume the role of chairman of the board and chief technology officer. This will allow me the opportunity to focus solely on the strategic vision and mission of the company I founded in 1996. I look forward to Charles’ continued success as the leader of Airway Management.”

Prior to assuming leadership of Airway Management, Collins was president of Airway Labs, a division of Airway Management. Collins joined the Airway Family of Companies in 2002. Prior to that he was a project manager for J. O. Collins Contractor Inc.
