A Westland man diagnosed with central sleep apnea is the first patient in Michigan enrolled in a new trial using a novel implantable device to restore more normal breathing patterns during sleep.
As part of the remed System Pivotal Trial sponsored by Respicardia, Matthew Kemppainen recently received a remed System implant at Botsford Hospital. He is enrolled in the study through the Detroit Clinical Research Center.
