There are multiple scientific papers stating the right and not the left. THe last two reasons (snoring and pregnant) do not differ in right vs. left. However, sleeping on your left will have pressure and stress on your stomach, pancreas and heart since they are located on the left side.You mentioned sleeping on the left will allow the blood to return easily to the heart, what about pumping it from the heart. Sleeping on the right allows the heart to be higher and allows for easy pumping of the blood to rest of the body without mich effort from the heart. Pumping out of the heart needs more effort than receiving hence the muscle wall thickness in the left ventricle.
Sleeping on left side can precipitate aFib. Vagas nerve that stimulates digestion touches the atrial side of the heart causing irregular beats to begin

I have gone into full blown afib twice in 10 years
Both times woke me up and I was on left side
Both times 3 days in hospital with medicine back to normal
When on left side I notice rythem change from time to time
I take deep breath change positions and all good
