ResMed Corp, Poway, Calif, recently introduced the Mirage Activa™ LT nasal mask. The Mirage Activa LT mask cushion features ActiveCell technology that expands and contracts during use, acting as an independent suspension to keep the cushion in place as the patient changes sleeping positions and pressure modes.
“We believe the Activa LT will enable clinicians to improve patient care and compliance and reduce time spent on mask-fitting and training with first time fit for every patient,” says Elaine McGhee, product manager for patient interfaces.
The Activa LT also utilizes a MicroFit dial to allow users to fine-tune their fit to their preferences with one-handed adjustment.
