Respiratory therapy services provider Lincare has entered into a definitive agreement to to acquire American HomePatient Inc from Highland Capital Management L.P.
The transaction, which is subject to customary approvals and regulatory review, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2016.

I have worked at AHP for 2 years. It wasn’t a bad place to work, BUT now that Lincare has taken over, it is horrible. I can’t stand the way the patients/customers are treated. And the CSRs don’t fair any better. God help me to get another job!
This company refused to set up my daughter’s cpap machine because it was not bought from them. She needs her machine we bought from a friend who no longer needs it set up and to be on it for a while before her doctor will let her go back to work. For her on safety her place of employment will not let her come back either till she has been on her machine a while. They can t have her falling asleep and falling on a conveyor belt. Lincare clearly does not care about people only the money they can make feom their sales. For this reason I would never recommend this company to anyone.Another reason my daughter was probably turned down she has no insurance. Thanks for not helping.
