PAP device and accessories manufacturer and distributor 3B Medical Inc and software provider CMB Solutions have entered into a strategic alliance. 3B’s iCodeConnect patient management system will integrate with CMB Solutions’ cloud-based patient contact and compliance management software, allowing mutual clients to have an automated and efficient platform with real-time proven compliance data. It will even allow for same-day order processing due to its seamless integration with multiple billing software and fulfillment services.
The companies say this means a cost savings for the HME/DME because they won’t have to look between disparate billing systems, compliance systems, patient contact systems, and fulfillment systems to process orders. CMB Solutions will continue to offer client-based compliance and quality assurance surveys for all product lines but will include iCode entry into its live call, e-mail, text, and IVR scripts. This will populate back into iCodeConnect for detailed compliance reporting for its users.
CMB Solutions CEO Asif Kidwai, PhD, says in a release, “These expanded capabilities allow the HME/DME to access CMS-compliant data from a single source…We are excited to partner with 3B Medical to continue to bring added value and new efficiencies to this market. Reporting data will easily migrate between the two systems for optimized patient management and care on or before December 2014.”
