Med-Care Diabetic & Medical Supplies Inc, a wellness company founded on the principles of patient care and service, donated more than 150 refurbished CPAP machines to the American Sleep Apnea Association’s CPAP Assistance Program.

“We’re thankful to Med-Care for supporting the ASAA’s CPAP Assistance Program,” says Kalimah Ashby, the ASAA’s CPAP Assistance Program coordinator, in a release. “The ASAA is able to provide gently used CPAP devices to individuals in need due to generous device and supplies donations from organizations like Med-Care. These donations help bridge the gap between diagnosis and treatment, while keeping usable equipment from filling already overcrowded landfills.”

Dr Steven Silverman, founder and CEO of Med-Care, says: “The management of sleep apnea has been revolutionized by CPAP devices and we’re happy to make a donation to ASAA’s CPAP Assistance Program. For individuals with sleep apnea, a CPAP machine is the gift of a good night’s sleep, which we hope will positively impact other areas of their lives.”
