FusionHealth, a provider of sleep health management solutions, has entered into a strategic partnership with Willis North America, a unit of Willis Group Holdings plc, the global risk advisor, insurance, and reinsurance broker.

Atlanta-based FusionHealth combines cloud-based technology and management consulting to deliver a range of solutions aimed at improving employee health and safety performance and reducing the overall cost of treating chronic sleep disorders. Through this partnership with FusionHealth, Willis is able to provide clients with a comprehensive sleep management program to identify, treat, and manage sleep disorders. The program can be fully integrated into a firm’s employee benefits, healthcare, risk management, and loss control agenda, and is ideally suited for a variety of industries including transportation, construction, manufacturing, retail, aviation, logistics, energy, and public entities.

FusionHealth’s CEO, Sigurjon Kristjansson, says in a release: “Employers currently face significant risk and costs associated with undiagnosed and untreated sleep disorders; costs that are driven by lack of productivity, impaired safety, and associated chronic conditions. Our technology enabled sleep health management programs that identify, treat, and manage sleep disorders have been proven to improve health and significantly lower risk of accidents. We are very excited about our partnership with Willis, and the ability to leverage our collective expertise to bring innovative solutions to Willis clients.”

Todd Jones, CEO, Willis North America, says, “Until now, identifying and treating sleep disorders was a cumbersome and costly process for employees navigating traditional employer-sponsored health plans or risk management programs. Now, by applying sophisticated technology and data analytics, FusionHealth streamlines this process to deliver a powerful and effective solution. Willis is excited to partner with FusionHealth to help employers tackle the threat associated with sleep disorders and become a healthier and more profitable workplace.”
