Electronic health records (EHR) and practice management company Compulink Business Systems Inc has introduced Otolaryngology Advantage, a specialty-specific version of its fully integrated all-in-one system.

The product features the company’s Visual Documentation Engine (VDE) technology, which allows physicians to quickly document the diagnosis, drive orders, testing, and patient education simply by dragging and dropping a single icon. “We’re bringing to otolaryngology…the same groundbreaking technology that has been so successful for our other specialties,” says Link Wilson, CEO and founder of Compulink, in a release. “With features including our VDE, adaptive learning, and our PracticeWatch task automation APP, we believe we can significantly boost physician productivity and business profitability.”

Specifically for ENT physicians, Otolaryngology Advantage contains built-in specialty-specific medical knowledge and workflow support for allergy, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, head and neck, laryngology, pediatric otolaryngology, rhinology, and sleep disorders.

It automates to ICD-10 and is certified for Meaningful Use.
