DeVilbiss Healthcare will sponsor a presentation titled "Portable Monitoring and autoCPAP in the Initial Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea—A Strategy Whose Time Has Come." The presentation by Dr Frank Ryan, professor of medicine, University of British Columbia, and consultant to the Vancouver Coastal Health Sleep Disorders Program, will be held at the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) Annual Education [removed]Conference[/removed] and Trade Show in Vancouver, BC, May 31–June 2.

Attendees will gain an understanding of the emerging role of portable monitoring together with autotitrating CPAPs versus PSG in the initial management of OSA.

In addition, Dave Henry, RRT, respiratory clinical specialist for DeVilbiss, will present “Using Autotitrating CPAP to Manage OSA.” In this educational presentation, attendees will gain an understanding of basic theory, elements of the autotitrating report useful in managing OSA, and various case studies concerning management of the patient.
