Nihon Kohden was certified as a great workplace for the second consecutive year by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work Institute. As in 2015, the certification was based on anonymous feedback by current employees on the quality of the company’s challenges, atmosphere, rewards, pride, communication, and bosses.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious certification for the second year in a row, as it underscores that our employees feel valued and proud of the work they do on behalf of the patients and healthcare professionals we serve,” says Betzy Estrada, vice president of human resources and chief compliance executive of Nihon Kohden America, in a release. “Our employees have a strong connection with each other and know that they are making a difference.”

Nihon Kohden employees completed 218 surveys, resulting in a 90% confidence level and a margin of error of ± 2.52. A summary of the company’s ratings can be found at http://reviews.greatplacetowork.com/nihon-kohden-america.

“If you work for a company whose products and services make a tangible difference in the health of people around the world, you’d understand feeling more than a bit of pride in what you do,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Great Place to Work Reviews’ vice president and senior editor, in a release. “And since that’s what Nihon Kohden does, specializing in precision medical products and services for hospitals and health systems, it’s how the employees at this organization feel.”
