Sleep diagnostics product manufacturer CleveMed has selected cloud-based business application Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite to streamline data exchange across its products.

“One of the most important trends in health care today is the movement of care and monitoring into the community and closer to the patient via remote medical devices (Internet Of Things) and mobile applications. For this to work well, we also need to efficiently return that data to the healthcare enterprise, securely and at scale,” says Mark Weber, senior vice president, Infor Healthcare, in a release. “Today that means having the ability to easily orchestrate that data exchange across a variety paradigms, such as proprietary or standard web service APIs [application program interfaces], such as FHIR [Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources], and more traditional methods such as HL7 [Health Level-7] v2 so common in legacy systems. We are pleased to work with market leading innovators such as CleveMed to streamline that data exchange across our customer base.”

By embedding Infor Cloverleaf into its product, CleveMed can utilize like-to-like coupling, CleveMed’s Cloverleaf system to the Cloverleaf system at a healthcare facility, to speed onboarding and adoption, which can result in greater satisfaction and lower implementation costs.

Sarah Weimer, director, Sleep Services and Products, CleveMed, says, “Our company’s goal has always been to expand the reach of sleep medicine with technologies that speed diagnosis for providers, reduce healthcare costs for payors, and improve patients’ experiences in the home. Partnering with Infor is what is going to take us to that next step. Infor’s greatest advantage in the market is its customer footprint and reputation, which provides a tremendous advantage for CleveMed to grow our business globally.”
