ResMed Corp, San Diego, introduces the Mirage™ SoftGel nasal mask, designed to offer comfort and versatility for patients. The mask, with its interchangeable frame that is also compatible with the Mirage Activa™ LT, is part of ResMed’s ConvertAble™ Series.

“ResMed’s SoftGel is an important component of our new ConvertAble Series and a strong addition to our mask portfolio as a whole. We believe the versatility of this product platform will not only help our customers improve patient compliance and engagement by offering more choice and comfort, but will also support business efficiency and cost savings by helping to achieve more successful titrations and reducing the need for costly swap-outs and callbacks,” said J.C. Kyrillos, senior vice president of sales, marketing and clinical education, Americas.

The SoftGel features a DoubleGel™ cushion, which includes a blue gel layer for strong support and a clear gel layer that gently conforms to individual facial contours. It also features ResMed’s MicroFit dial, so patients can adjust their frame easily for added control and customization. In addition, vents diffuse air away from the patient and their bed partner for quieter therapy.

The SoftGel also incorporates a number of additional features including: Set-and-Forget headgear clips; a 360° rotating elbow; and a user support package with a travel bag and user guide.
