InsomniSolv received $83,830 in grant money from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center’s first round of Milestone Achievement Program grants, reports Star Beacon.

InsomniSolv, a biotech startup in Beverly, is developing a wearable medical device to cure insomnia. Tentatively called Zziesta, the device consists of two wristbands controlled by a smartphone app that use rhythmic stimulation to produce a hypnotic effect on the wearer’s brain to lull the person to sleep without the use of drugs.
