The new facility beds can hold up to 1,000 pounds, allowing for bariatric testing, reports Norwalk Reflector.
The facility, which staffs about 82, also supports overnight studies in comfortable environment.
“Some procedures require an overnight stay,” Hamilton said. “We offer a home like atmosphere. With the bariatric beds and showers/bathrooms, it will be a lot more comfortable and accessible for patients.”
“This is a great location,” he added. “With the hospital right across the road and with physical therapy right here (in the same complex), it’s great.”
