Eve Bird is a person with narcolepsy who is also a science pioneer, reports Daily Record.
In her formative years in Aberdeen, Bird struggled through school, saddled with two significant and undiagnosed impediments – dyslexia, which is characterised as having difficulty in reading and writing words; and Narcolepsy, a neurological disorder which causes excessive daytime sleepiness.
