Sleep paralysis a frightening condition that CBS 2’s Marissa Bailey found is more common than you might think.
Altamirano has experienced it since she was a child. “Sometimes it’s a prison, my whole body’s a prison,” she says.
Tim Hall had only one episode, but the experience is still vivid.
“All of a sudden, I wake up and I couldn’t move at all,” he remembers.
I had episodes of sleep paralysis for a couple of months in 2004. I was on medication of Lipitor. Had side effects that Dr. said was depression. So,I was also on an SSRI (Lexapro). One or a combo of the medications, (I believe) caused it I have not experienced this condition again.
