A news report from The Telegraph says the University of East Anglia is introducing its own nap room for students.

UEA Student Union’s ‘nap nook’ opens today and will allow users to book a 40 minute sleep slot between 12pm and 6pm. The room will be equipped with bean bags, sofa beds and even eye masks to help bleary-eyed freshers get some kip – along with CCTV and strict instructions not to ‘misuse’ the facility.

The nap space is based on a similar set-up at the James Madison University in Virginia, which was implemented by the university’s sleep & actigraphy lab.
