Online mattress retailer eve Sleep’s new partnership with Debenhams will allow shoppers on London’s Oxford Street to rest and try out the firm’s mattresses.

Weary shoppers on London’s busiest shopping street will now be able to rest their tired legs following online mattress retailer eve Sleep’s new partnership with Debenhams.

The tie-up will see eve’s nap pods, which featured in its pop-up The Nap Station concept on Brick Lane in June, become a permanent fixture at the high street retailer’s Oxford Street store, giving the startup a permanent space in a bricks and mortar store.

The partnership will mean Londoners have a chance to try the firm’s mattresses which will be available to purchase as part of Debenhams’ recently launched Home Hub.

Jonathan Zatland, eve Sleep’s recently-appointed Chief Commercial Officer, said that the partnership was part of the startup’s efforts to become an established multichannel retailer and would give prospective customers the chance to try before they buy.

He said: “We are delighted to bring our nap pods to London through our partnership with Debenhams. eve Sleep was born from an ambition to revolutionise every aspect of buying a mattress, but we understand that some people would rather ‘try before they buy’.
