Baptist Health Sleep Clinic has started sending the sleep tests home with patients, reports Arkansas Matters.
Dr. Jason Williams is a sleep physician at the clinic. He says the home sleep tests allow them to find symptoms to sleep-related disorders.
“It can lead to trouble keeping the blood pressure under control, maybe an increased risk of unregular heart beat and rhythm, strokes, heart attack, congestive heart failure,” he says.
