The SRS will offer a limited number of First Time Trainee Travel Awards for SLEEP 2015. Only Trainees who have not previously attended a SLEEP Annual Meeting are eligible to receive this award.
First Time Travel Awards will be judged competitively based on the applicant’s promise for a future in sleep research. The dollar amount of these awards will depend on the total number of awards given. Award winners will be notified via e-mail. Individuals that accept these awards are required to attend the 2015 SRS-sponsored Trainee Symposia Series in conjunction with SLEEP 2015 conference June 6-10 in Seattle, Washington. No exceptions will be made to this requirement. Individuals may apply for a First Time Trainee Travel Award, a Travel Award based on Scientific Merit, and/or an Undergraduate Award; however, the applicant may accept only one of the awards.
