USA Today reports that the sleeping arrangements of a family of seven in Plano, Texas, is drawing criticism and praise.
The Boyce family — two adults and five children — all share the same bed. Mom, Elizabeth Boyce, is amazed by the multitude of articles and mountain of social media comments about her family’s unorthodox sleeping habits.
“Apparently anything can be controversial,” she said. “Who knew?”
Boyce, a professional photographer, said the story came about after she posted a photo on Facebook of her “Ikea hack,” in which she fitted two of the store’s beds together.
“Honestly, of all the things I take photographs of, I never thought this would make us ‘Internet famous’ — which is a whole different kind of famous!” she said.
