The East Texas Medical Center is one of the first sites in the US to offer Inspire therapy for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, as indicated on a KLTV news report.

 “We believe that this therapy represents a major advance in sleep apnea treatment, especially for vulnerable patients who cannot achieve benefit from CPAP,” said Dr. Michael Lewis with Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of East Texas. “Untreated moderate-to-severe OSA places patients at increased risk for cardiovascular disease, accidents, and death. Inspire therapy provides us with an effective new treatment to use in a select group of our CPAP intolerant patient population.”
