Nonin Medical, Minneapolis, announced the release of its wireless fingertip pulse oximeter, the Onyx II®, model 9560.

The Onyx II, 9560 utilizes Nonin’s Onyx model in collaboration with Bluetooth technology. This allows clinicians to accurately monitor vital signs without being present. The new model gives patients the independence they want with the disease management they need.

“This breakthrough device is designed to be compatible with existing Nonin wireless products and emerging open standards like Continua, IEEE11073, and Bluetooth’s Health Device Profile,” says Kevin McGowan, director of business development for Nonin.
