The Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine and Technology and SleepEx have partnered to launch WebPSG, a new online education program for physicians. WebPSG is intended to help prepare physicians for the sleep medicine boards by allowing them to practice reading polysomnograms and multiple sleep latency tests online at a fraction of the cost of previous training methods.
“By building this software and making these services available, we are not only making it less expensive and easier for the physicians, we are providing solutions to enable better health care for the patients,” says Wally Carruthers, chairman of SleepEx.
SleepEx is a provider of patient electronic medical records and practice management solutions, and has also developed a new platform of electronic medical records called ZMRTM. WebPSG utilizes this new ZMR platform.
“With the help of browser-based technology developed by SleepEx and their new ZMR platform of online electronic medical records, we are able to offer WebPSG and its lightning-fast access to unlimited physicians and numerous studies anytime, anywhere,” says Russell Rosenberg, PhD, Director of NeuroTrials Research and The Atlanta School.
