Royal Philips Electronics and Cinterion Wireless Modules, a company specializing in machine-to-machine (M2M) communication modules, won the Best Embedded End-to-End Service Award for Philips Respironics’ System One sleep therapy solution.

The M2M solution integrates one of Cinterion's Evolution Platform modules and marries mobility and two-way wireless communications with advancements in sleep apnea therapy to help OSA patients and their health care providers who must meet rigorous new reporting standards. The device currently operates on the nPhase AT&T network in the United States and will roll out in markets around the world over the coming year.
