The Academy of Dental Sleep Medicines 11th annual conference will be held June 69 at the Elliot Grand Hyatt. This meeting will feature an international gathering of leading clinicians, researchers, and academicians working in the field of dental sleep medicine. It will run in tandem with the annual APSS, AASM, and APT meetings, giving participants access to the largest and best meeting of its kind. The ADSM has held its meeting in conjunction with the APSS for the past 8 years and is open to dentists, physicians, and affiliated health care providers and scientists who treat and study patients with sleep disordered breathing (SDB). Conference presentations will include the most up-to-date clinical applications and research in the field of dental sleep medicine related to the treatment of SDB (snoring, upper airway resistance syndrome, and sleep apnea) utilizing oral appliance and surgical therapies. This years ADSM conference will begin with a hands-on workshop that will allow participants to gain practical experience while having an opportunity to interact with industry leaders providing supplies and equipment. Attendees will have the opportunity to view and interact with vendor exhibits at their own pace while learning about the latest technological advancements within the rapidly evolving field of dental sleep medicine. Presentations focusing on the practical aspects of appliance and surgical therapies promise to provide both the novice and seasoned veteran with many immediately useful tips and applications. With the quality of the speakers, diversity of topics, and backgrounds represented at these meetings, dental sleep medicine has something to offer everyone.
