Topics at the show will range from the behavioral treatment of insomnia and advances in restless legs syndrome to interpreting polysomnograms and pharmacotherapy for pediatric sleep problems. On June 11, one of Sleep Reviews Editorial Advisory Board members, Don A. Pantino, DDS, will be presenting dental sleep medicine at the Annual Association of Polysomnographic Technologists meeting with a talk entitled How Dentistry Can Help Manage Your Patients With Sleep Disordered Breathing. Dr Pantino will also be chairing the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (ADSM) conference that will precede the APSS (see below). On June 9, the ADSM meeting will conclude with the annual APSS joint session, which is a postgraduate course cosponsored by the ADSM and AASM, a half-day symposium that allows access to participants of both meetings. With Dr Pantino starting off the show, combined with a lineup of heavy hitters like Nelson B. Powell, DDS, MD; Daniel F. Kripke, MD; and Ruth M. Benca, MD, this show should prove to be a hit.
