Krysten Polsky, RRT, has seen first hand how lack of sleep can negatively impact lives. She treats clients desperate to find sleep solutions at Snore MD’s newly opened sleep apnea clinic at Parkgate Village in North Vancouver, Canada.

“A father and his 13-year-old son walked in recently. The dad was always falling asleep and the son felt his dad was not a presence in his life. We provided solutions that really improved their relationship. The son felt he got his dad back,” says Polsky, a registered respiratory therapist, in a release.

Snore MD opened its 10th sleep clinic with its Parkgate location in July. The BC-based company is expanding to Gibson’s Landing and Prince George this fall and is opening its first Vancouver Island clinic in the spring.

“Our motto is, ‘Better Sleep. Better Life.’ and it’s in everything we do,” says Snore MD president Kevin Jardine. “Our number-one priority is delivering exceptional customer care above all. We have the finest team in the industry, and state of the art technology to ensure the best patient experience and care.”

At Snore MD, clients are welcome to walk in without a doctor’s referral. It is open 6-7 days a week with extended hours and continuous care-for-life program.

“Instead of being mysterious and placing product in the back, we display it all. We involve customers in product conversation and educate them in the best way we can,” says Jardine.

Snore MD also has a training program, adds Michael Davis, director of sales and marketing. The patient-focussed online learning program is called Snore MD University. “This advanced program equips our team to be expert sleep specialists and educate and guide every patient to the highest possible level of care,” Davis says.
