A Robb Report article details a program from Six Senses Spa in the Swiss Alps that is designed to improve sleep.

Last year, Six Senses Spa—at the Alpina Gstaad, 56-room hotel in the Swiss Alps—launched a sleep program so popular the spa decided to bring it back for another year.

Two yoga practices are combined, geared specifically toward bettering one’s sleep: nidra (Hindi for “sleep”), an ancient form of guided meditation; and hatha (“willful” or “forceful”), a strengthening sequence of physical exercises that promote alignment. A therapist discusses the needs and issues of each participant before leading everyone through the practices, which include relaxing stretches and mindful pranayama (“breath control”) for reaching a state of calmness and well-being, and ultimately a more restful night’s sleep.
