OravanOSA introduced the Oravan Herbst at the 2015 Greater New York Dental Meeting in New York City. Oravan Herbst is Medicare PDAC approved and FDA-cleared to treat obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. The company states that the Herbst has a truly open anterior design, encouraging natural protrusion of the tongue, maximum patient comfort, and no interference with anterior dental cosmetic work. The telescopic arms connecting the upper and lower components allow for easy lateral and vertical movement, which is particularly beneficial for those patients that grind or brux their teeth while sleeping.

Daniel Stein, co-founder and CEO of OravanOSA, says in a release: “We are very happy to announce the introduction of the Oravan Herbst. This is a very important step for our company and our clients. Now, Medicare patients can experience the difference with our unique open anterior design and get the sleep they deserve.”

OravanOSA currently fabricates the Oravan (dorsal fin) and Oravan Herbst appliances.
