Metro Detroiters will wake up rested, refreshed, and reenergized after attending Art Van Furniture’s free “Ladies Night Out” Slumber Party on May 3 from 6 PM to 9 PM at its Shelby Township store. The free, information-packed event will kick off National Better Sleep Month and will feature valuable advice from Dr Robert Oexman, director of the Sleep to Live Institute in Missouri, and Dr Martha Frankowski, a neurologist at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.

Guests attending the entertaining and educational event, from sleep-deprived new moms to individuals with back pain and other health issues to partners with different sleep needs and preferences, will have opportunities to take the Art Van PureSleep diagnostic test and get fit for the proper mattress and pillow by Art Van Furniture’s sleep specialists. Factory representatives will be on hand to answer questions and share valuable information. Oexman and Frankowski will talk to attendees about the importance of a good night’s sleep, the health consequences of poor sleep patterns, and how to create an optimal sleep environment. Local sleep expert Patty Werner, founder of Baby Sleep All Night and a certified sleep consultant with the International Maternity Institute, will also share tips and expertise.
