Surgical Sleep Solutions, with locations in Missoula, Mont, and Rancho Mirage, Calif, says its unique treatment model—which pairs maxillomandibular advancement (MMA) surgery with special patient-centered care—has a 95% to 99% success rate in curing sleep apnea. Surgical Sleep Solutions says its treatment model also lowers sleep apnea surgical costs and shortens patient recovery times.

MMA surgery is effective but typically requires a hospital setting and 4 to 6 weeks of recovery time. The Surgical Sleep Solutions procedure combined with a specialized delivery model offer patients something new: a less invasive procedure, a very high success rate, a shorter recovery time, a historically lower price tag, and an alternative to CPAP. The delivery model, focused on one-on-one care at a private surgical facility, allows patients to spend just 1 night away from home after the surgery. Most patients can return to regular activities within 10 days of their procedure, according to a press release from the center.

“Surgical Sleep Solutions has been dedicated to helping sleep apnea patients for many years, and our treatment model has been continuously and tirelessly refined over time,” says Surgical Sleep Solutions surgeon Dr Clark O. Taylor, in a release. “We are absolutely pleased to announce the high efficacy rate we have achieved and we look forward to helping many more patients get—and keep—a good night’s sleep.”
