The American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) will administer the 2010 [removed]Behavioral Sleep Medicine Exam[/removed] on June 6, 2010, in San Antonio. 

“Passing the exam will fulfill all requirements to receive behavioral sleep medicine certification and the designation of ‘Certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (CBSM),’ ” according to information from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Applicants for the BSM certification exam must have a doctoral degree (eg, PhD, PsyD) or equivalent in a health-related field, and must return a completed application to the ABSM postmarked no later than February 1, 2010. The 160 multiple-choice question test costs $300.
