Sleep Centers of America Inc (SCOA), Norman, Okla, has acquired the assets of Sleep Holdings Inc. Sleep Centers of America will now own or operate 19 diagnostic sleep centers throughout  the United States.

“Our locations are a great complement to SCOA’s existing geographic market. With the efficient Centralized Patient Care Center in Norman, we will be able to streamline our procedures, better serve our patients, and increase the opportunities for new locations and other possible partnerships,” says Roy Mers of Sleep Holdings Inc.

Sleep Centers of America also has a health and wellness program targeted to the trucking industry, which it hopes to expand as part of the acquisition.

“With our newly combined resources, we will be able to target a wide range of companies that might benefit from testing and treatment of their employees for sleep disorders with a cost-effective health and wellness program,” says Paul A. Kruger, founder of Sleep Centers of America.
