Missing deadlines, dealing with an unreasonable boss, and giving
presentations are making the British lose sleep, at least an hour’s worth,
according to new research.

A survey of 3,500 British workers conducted by hotel chain Travelodge found
that a lack of work confidence is fuelling sleepless nights for 50% of
employees. Nearly half of those questioned blame a lack of sleep for their
inability to concentrate at work. The study also found that a fifth admitted
to falling asleep at their desks, while 28% of workers have called in sick
due to not getting enough sleep.
