Clinical Advisors, a New York City-based independent research and consulting firm, is recruiting people who work in either sleep laboratories or for medical equipment supply companies to participate in monthly surveys on the sleep apnea market. The study is called the MedTech Tracker Sleep Apnea Study, and it aims to monitor patient referral rates and diagnosis rates from sleep apnea clinics, as well as CPAP dispensing data from medical equipment companies.

Clinical Advisors says the survey will be done online and will take about 10 minutes once a month for participants to complete. To compensate the participants for their time, it will mail them a personal check for $75 for each branch/site/location they report data from 7 to 10 days following the online data submission each month. Participants will also get feedback in the form of an emailed quarterly data newsletter. The research firm is not collecting individual patient of demographic data, and information submitted will not be associated with the participant’s name, the sleep clinic or company’s name, or the city and state where it was reported from.

People interested in participating should contact Konstantin Chmakov, recruiting assistant for Clinical Advisors, at [email protected] or (646) 873 3007.
